Wiring Guide
9 DVC 2Ω subs, wired in parallel.
- Final load
- 0.444Ω
- Amp stable at
- 0.25Ω
Heads up: 0.444Ω is below most amplifier ratings. Verify your amp is rated for this load before wiring.
Step-by-step
How to wire it.
- 01For each sub, connect voice coil 1 negative (−) to voice coil 2 positive (+). The remaining voice coil 1 positive (+) becomes the sub's effective +, and voice coil 2 negative (−) becomes the effective −.
- 02Connect every sub's + terminal together (you can use a distribution block, busbar, or twist the wires). Run a single wire from this common + point to the amplifier's + terminal.
- 03Connect every sub's − terminal together the same way. Run a single wire from this common − point to the amplifier's − terminal.
